Hi Shannon!
Sorry to hear about your loss! I lost my personal weim of 15 years in February... he was my first "weim-love", so he will always hold a special place in my heart!

Bleys has found her new home! If you are interested in a rescue weimie - or two! :-) - Charleston Weim Rescue http://www.grchasweimclub.org/rescue.htm may be able to help. Also, we get an unfortunate amount of dogs from the Effingham County, GA Animal Shelter, which is just a stone's throw from Savannah (pulled one last week). If you'd to talk more about our program and possibly adopting one of our weims, please complete an application at http://atlantalovesweims.org/forms/AWCR_AdoptionApp/AWCR_AdoptionApp.php and we will call you to talk more about our group and our available weimies! Thanks! We look forward to hearing from you!

On a personal note, would love to talk to you about vacationing with dogs on the beach in Hilton Head... we usually go to Cape San Blas on the Panhandle in November each year... there are 4 of us... we each have a weim... we're worried about lots of people on the beach and how dogs running the waves are perceived... any thoughts?
