Of course, financial assistance is typically our greatest need because of the costs encountered with rescuing our beautiful gray & blue friends ($300 per dog on average). But, there are several other ways for you to contribute to the ongoing efforts of the Atlanta Weimaraner Club Rescue.
“Preston” became Brodie on the way home from Atlanta and the name stuck immediately. He came to live with us in July 2009 , instantly finding his place in our home and hearts. He’s now a beautiful, healthy, happy 2 year old boy. We found out his skin problems were because he is allergic to proteins. After months on a good fish based diet, he has a gorgeous Blue Weim coat again. We live in the woods and it took him awhile before he realized that he didn’t need to bark at every acorn that hit the deck. Our Giant Schnauzer Maddie has been teaching him how to be a good watch dog . They love hiking & going for rides together . He’s smart, loving, goofy, occasionally regal, manipulative, active – everything a good Weim should be.
