Charley is a beautiful blue, 8 year old, spayed, female Weim that needs a new home because her family was unable to give her the time she needed…they had a baby. As with most Weims, Charley is high energy and will need a lot of exercise. Charley has a very high prey drive and cannot be let off leash. Charley is up-to-date on her shots, on monthly heartworm meds and is housebroken. Charley gets along with most other submissive large dogs, but does NOT do well with senior dogs, small dogs, cats, chickens or cattle. She is would be okay with older children; no babies or toddlers. Charley loves to run and play with squeaker toys. Charley was crate trained when she was a puppy, but now she is fine left free roaming in the house alone. Charley is eager to please (loves her humans) and would make an excellent running companion, her obedience training taught her to walk/run well on a leash.

The AWCR uses a common process in its rescue program. Read about our Adoption Process procedures.

We are an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. If you wish to make a donation, please use our online giving page.

Of course, financial assistance is typically our greatest need because of the costs encountered with rescuing our beautiful gray & blue friends ($300 per dog on average). But, there are several other ways for you to contribute to the ongoing efforts of the Atlanta Weimaraner Club Rescue.
