<description>Edison has boarded with us on and off since being rescued by AWCR. He does really well in this environment. We don&#039;t see any signs of his separation anxiety, but I suppose that&#039;s because he&#039;s never really alone - with several dogs and my staff always nearby.

He&#039;s quiet when he&#039;s in his pen (a 4&#039; x 4&#039; enclosure) and he gets along with all of the dogs here - big and small. He doesn&#039;t &#039;play&#039; per se, but when he&#039;s in the yard he lopes around, sniffs, pees on every blade of grass - and sunbathes. He barks when he&#039;s ready to come inside.

He loves having his ears and belly scratched - and it is a real honor when Edison bestows a kiss on you because he gives them very rarely.

He is a sweet, gentle boy who I think would do really well in a moderately active household - he likes his exercise (walks in the park especially!) but he also likes to sleep! I do believe he would like a canine companion.

He has a hardy appetite, but is not food aggressive. Other than his dry kibble, he enjoys the occasional &#039;chewy stick&#039;-type treat.

Oh, and he has never met a stranger. He greets new people very nicely and very quietly.

He is a special boy - a real treat. I would adopt him myself if I didn&#039;t already have five dogs! We are really going to miss this big guy but we can&#039;t wait for him to find his forever home.
