Sierra is a 7 year old, 65 lbs, spayed Weimaraner female. She is an absolutely wonderful dog. She’s housebroken and does extremely well in the house by herself. Sierra is well trained and highly intelligent. She’s loving and obedient and just wants to please. She’s also kennel trained, if need be, but has no problems being left alone in the house. Sierra is up-to-date on all shots and is on monthly heartworm and flea and tick preventative.
Sierra is very sweet, affectionate and gets along with other dogs and children. She’s lived with another Weim for the past 6 years. She’s shy at first, but warms up quickly. Dog parks are one of her favorite places to go and she loves car rides. Sierra also loves to play fetch and go on walks. She really is an ideal dog.
Unfortunately, I have to move and she can’t come with, so I’m hoping to find her a new home with loving people that will give her the care and attention that she deserves.

Of course, financial assistance is typically our greatest need because of the costs encountered with rescuing our beautiful gray & blue friends ($300 per dog on average). But, there are several other ways for you to contribute to the ongoing efforts of the Atlanta Weimaraner Club Rescue.

Sierra is listed on our site as a “Courtesy Listing” by a private owner who is trying to rehome his personal weim. There is no affiliation to AWCR. Our requirement for Courtesy Listings is that the pet must be spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations. If you are interested in Sierra, please contact her owner and the number and email provided.
