Walker is a beautiful 4 year old weim who needs the love and attention of an active family. His ideal home will be one that is willing to show him patience as he learns the paces and routine of being part of a family. He is a laid-back kind of guy and gets along with everyone! He’s currently in a foster home with 2 other weims and a cat! He does show some signs of separation anxiety and would do best in a home where he is not left for long periods of time.
Unfortunately, Walker is heartworm positive and will need to undergo heartworm treatment.

Of course, financial assistance is typically our greatest need because of the costs encountered with rescuing our beautiful gray & blue friends ($300 per dog on average). But, there are several other ways for you to contribute to the ongoing efforts of the Atlanta Weimaraner Club Rescue.
