Of course, financial assistance is typically our greatest need because of the costs encountered with rescuing our beautiful gray & blue friends ($300 per dog on average). But, there are several other ways for you to contribute to the ongoing efforts of the Atlanta Weimaraner Club Rescue.
This dog is absolutely beautiful and is actually “posing” for this picture! My family and I are seriously considering adopting a weim to love on. We made it a point to go by the Acworth Petsmart last Saturday to talk to some Weim Volunteers about the breed and their specific needs, since I am a stay at home mom and would be the primary doggie caregiver. We had a chocolate lab that passed a little over a year ago and are ready to make a large energetic dog part of our family again. However, we are waiting for the holiday excitement to pass before pursuing the adoption process. Anyways, I just wanted to say what a pleasure it was meeting with the volunteers and dogs! Your program is wonderful and the site looks great. Kudos to y’all! I will hopefully be in touch soon.
